ALEXANDRIA — Most of a $1,300 value of Christmas toys stolen from an Alexandria storage trickery were returned someday before emergence on Thursday.

Terri Brenner, organizer of a Alexandria Toy Drive, pronounced lapse of a toys was unexpected, though fantastic.

The toys left between noon and 4 p.m. on Wednesday while volunteers were relocating toys from a storage section nearby Washington and Belmont streets to another facility..

While they were unloading some toys during a second location, other toys were stolen from a initial unit.

“We consider many of them have been returned,” Brenner said, and a timing couldn’t have been some-more fortunate.

This is a weekend that fondle expostulate organizers have their annual rummage sale to lift income for a toys, Brenner said.

The sale will be during 804 S. Park Ave. from 8:30 to “whenever,” Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Brenner said.
